My Manga Purchases for May 2012

Here's what I bought manga-wise this month.

English Language
  • "Oresama Teacher" Volume 8
Japaneses Language
  • "Magnolia" Volume 4 + Drama CD
  • "Tempest" Volumes 1 & 2 by Aniya Yuiji
  • "Hebi to Maria to Otsuki-sama" by Uno Sanae
  • "Unknown" by Shiwase Yuki
  • "Joosama and the White Rabbit" Volume 2 by Oto Hisamu
  • "Paradise Pirates" by Yamaguchi Miyuki (Avoid this one! It's stupidly cliqued.)
  • "Sakura no Himegoto" Volume 1
  • "Wannin" Volume 1 & 2
  • "Hachimatsu to Batafurai"
  • "Kanojo no Namida ga Yuki dato Shitara"
  • "Ramune Bannouyaku" by Matsuzuki Kou
Electronic English Language
  • Nura Volume 8
  • Blue Exorcist Volume 7
I haven't gotten through all the stuff in Japanese yet, by I can tell you that I didn't like Paradise Pirates and I could only get through the first chapter before I had to put it down.  It's like an old-timey Disney Princess ended up on a jolly pirate ship.  Yuck!

Omari's Sister is Recruiting!

Omari's Sister Needs You!
We need new blood!  Omari's Sister is recruiting!  We need additional staff to maintain pace after June.  Here's what we need.
  • Cleaners/Redraw Artists/Image Editors -- I would prefer experienced volunteers, but if you have access to Photoshop and some experience using it, I'm willing to train you.  People with experience clone stamping and redrawing are most desired.  The minimum time expectation is one project per month.
If you are interested in volunteering for Omari's Sister, please send me an e-mail via the "Contact" link at the top of this blog.

People who are new to cleaning, consult this tutorial first to make sure you are familiar enough with Photoshop:  http://senbonzakura.kageyoshi.net/beginners-start-here/

"Magnolia" Chp 22

Update:  If you are having problems viewing this file, please upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 8 or above).  Just this once, I have re-crunched the file so it is compatible with version 6 and above.  If you are using some other PDF reader, all bets are off moving forward. This is the last time I will crunch a file to be viewed by an ancient version of Acrobat.

This seems like a bridge chapter to the next story arc.  Not much new is revealed in this chapter, but it's necessary to cement some of the ideas introduced in the last chapter.  The end of the chapter, though is pretty significant.  The question for me is whether what happened means that Ayato has accepted matters and has decided to be pro-active.  And what about Hugo? I'm gonna be so mad if he rips Ayato's heart out. Well, we'll know his initial reaction in a week or so.

Anyhow...onto the link!
